Comet SWAN & The Eagle Nebula (M16)

Comet SWAN & The Eagle Nebula (M16)

📖 Introduction

After wandering through the universe for billions of years, Comet SWAN happened to enter the Solar System — and by coincidence, it swept between Earth and the Eagle Nebula (M16).

We captured this fleeting moment through our telescope, even though the comet could never truly reach such a distant nebula.

The data has a relatively low signal-to-noise ratio, with less than 20 minutes per channel.Fortunately, I still had a previous image of M16, which made it possible to blend the two.
